Over Five Hundred Runescape Characters Slaughtered!!

The sensless killing has got to stop!

The worlds of Runescape have been "Occupied" by invisible forces that the citizens of Runescape cannot see and cannot fight.  The ruthless "Occupying Forces" have started another sickening campaign of killing members of our communities.

Friends of ours and neighbors, brutally deleted.

Here's some of the propaganda the "Occupying Forces" have issued:

Players caught for macroing don’t receive a warning, or a chance to appeal, or even a last-chance appeal - they are just permanently banned.

Fear and Panic Erupts

As the word of the murders spreads through the community, many players have raced to find out if their character had been tazered by the delete key.

One player worried that his regular playing schedule at the same time each day, might be mistaken for a bot, and maybe he was deleted - but he wasn't botting!!

Another player heard about the update on twitter, but can't check his computer till later today - he's really worried because he tried a runescape cheat for one weekend, but then quit... and he doesn't think that should get him banned!

Shock and sadness

Other players are experiencing profound shock and sadness for the sudden loss of their play-mates.

"It's like there's a whole in my life now - who will I level with?" -jane b.

All those who tried out a Runescape Cheat - even if it was years ago... back in your collage days... you will now be executed.

Others Players Are Indifferent

"Cheating, money buying, sharing accounts - are all clearly identified in the Runescape Rules", Says Jason F."It's kinda like real life - sooner or later you get caught if you try to cheat."

"I think its about time. I always reported the bots because I was working hard, playing by the rules, and those bots were making the game harder for me!" - Bryce J.
