Research the long term price charts of the individual items at historical low prices.

My strategy is to buy into the low-priced items that look like they have been targeted by a merchanting clan over the past 180 days.  My favorites are those markets that have only one big price spike, and a dormant period of low prices.

In this video, I identify three markets that meet these criteria:  Lemon, Harralander Seed and Eye Patch.

This strategy would be classed as investing.

I have no indicators that they are going to go up, I will be buying into these markets until I have 20k to 50k of the items, and I would be comfortable to leave them sit in my bank for months - or until they reach prices that are 80% as high as the old high price.
